Author Don Bean was recently featured on Talkin’ Pets Radio with Jon Patch to talk about The Amazing Story of Coot McGee — a colorful rhyming children’s story about kindness, teamwork, courage, and learning not to be a litterbug.
The story follows Coot McGee and his animal friends as their beautiful lake becomes polluted by trash and a leaking factory. When Coot’s animal friends are forced to leave, Coot stays behind and learns to talk with help from his new friends Billy and Jake. With his new voice, Coot finds the courage to stand up for the lake and help inspire the town to clean things up.
